The Golden Rule

I wonder what is wrong with the integrity of some people. This week alone, I had been stood up by two persons. Many a times of rescheduling, broken promises, and empty reassurances, still they managed to leave me waiting. Respect has never been at it's lowest by these 2 people. Wonder how they get along in life, if this is part of their character.

I am not angry, but really, I am just a phone call away. I am no lion who will roar at them at the littlest of friction. In fact, I would say that I had been very obliging and tried my very best to suit each of their wimps and fancies.

Life's fair. Everything's pre-arranged.

The Golden Rule of Reciprocity says that treat others as you would like to be treated.

So, life's fair. Everything comes back to you.

Have a little more integrity in your daily lives. Have a little more respect for others. Treat your words more seriously and treat others as how you would like yourself to be treated. Pointers in life which are not that difficult to apply.

What goes around comes around. I hope you both learn. And do not complaint if so, in the future, you are stuck facing the same shit as you put me into, intentionally or not.
