Free Bus Rides

It's a present from the government to the people.

For six months, the people will get to enjoy free bus rides, selected buses.

The buses have banners in local language to announce this.

The writings are in white with a blue background, or was it the other way round.

That doesn't matter, it makes not much of a difference to me.

For the most important part is it benefits all.

That was the explanation I got when I asked the reason why I was not asked to pay for the bus ride I took earlier in the week.

Today, I got onto one of those buses again.

And again, it saved me an equivalent of almost a ringgit worth of fare.

I am happy.
